Andrew has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of property law and, in particular, acts for a number of significant landowners, developers and investors.

Amongst his professional achievements, Peter filed the first case in the Commercial List and argued the first case heard by the Supreme Court. Peter employs the twin tools of mediation and litigation to achieve clients' objectives in a timely and cost effective manner.

Profile
Peter came to Keegan Alexander from Kensington Swan in 1997.
He has extensive experience in commercial and civil litigation having conducted proceedings in the District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Privy Council for insurance companies, corporate and private clients.
He is a graduate of the New Zealand Law Society Advanced Litigation Skills Programme.

Profile
After admission to the Bar, Frank was a Crown Prosecutor in Auckland for three years. He joined Kensington Swan in 1988 where he specialised in Insurance Law and practised exclusively on behalf of insurers and underwriters. He was a partner at Kensington Swan for six years before joing Keegan Alexander as a partner in 1998. Frank acts on behalf of a number of local and international insurance companies and underwriting agencies, in particular in the claims area.
He is an expert in all aspects of insuranceof litigation advice including fire and general, product liability, contract works, professional indemnity and life insurance. He also advises on and drafts insurance policy wordings.
He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and he is currently secretary and a committee member of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.

Matthew is a senior commercial lawyer with 25 years experience. Before joining Keegan Alexander he had 13 years as a partner with national law firm Kensington Swan and 6 years with boutique commercial firm LeeSalmonLong. He has also practised at Baker & McKenzie in Sydney, Australia and is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales and the Federal Courts of Australia.
Matthew advises listed companies and unlisted medium to large enterprises. Matthew has worked on numerous business transactions and legal compliance. He has broad commercial knowledge and experience in aquisitions, takeovers, corporate structuring and governance, securities, finance, joint ventures and all forms of commercial contracts.

Profile
Sean first worked as a judge's clerk at the High Court in Wellington before commencing private practice as a civil and criminal litigator with the leading law firm in the Cook Islands.
He joined Keegan Alexander in 2001 during which time he has been involved in many aspects of civil litigation including administrative law, relationship property, defamation, contractual disputes and tortious claims. He has developed particular interest and expertise in company matters and acts extensively for liquidators and receivers.
Sean is presently a contributing author of Brookers' District Courts Procedure. He has also written for the New Zealand Law Journal on matters such as administrative law, statutory interpretation and the conflict of laws.
